History

The Nuclear Regulatory Authority (NDK) was established with the Nuclear Regulatory Law No. 7381 dated 05/03/2022, published in the Official Gazette dated 08.03.2022, with the authority to "regulate" nuclear energy and ionizing radiation.

NÜTED Nuclear Technical Support Joint Stock Company (NÜTED A.Ş.) was also established with the Law No. 7381 (Article 23) to provide all kinds of technical support, analysis, consultancy, auditing, training and certification services that the Nuclear Regulatory Authority may need while fulfilling its assigned duties.

NÜTED A.Ş. was registered in the Trade Registry Gazette on 23.05.2019 and its first General Assembly was held on 17.03.2020.

It currently provides technical support to the Nuclear Regulatory Authority in many areas.
